Thank You
For Celebrating and Supporting
Our 7th Annual Yellow Lounge: Shift the Seen!

We hope you enjoyed the show and learned more about Khmer-American life-experiences through a youth and young womyn's perspective.

With your generous support we were able to raise about $6500 which helped to cover costs to keep Yellow Lounge a free and fun community event. Your support will also strengthen our youth leadership and organizing programs!

If you haven't seen it yet, please check out Felecia Cruz's interview with folks at Tiny Toones --K.K, Peanut and B-girl Diamond.

Or check out all the great memories captured by Thang Photography at our link here.

We hope to continue building with you and we most definitely look forward to celebrating with you next year!

With Much Love and Thanks!

DataCenter publishes article on KGA's Youth Survey Project!
Documenting the Khmer Youth Experience

excerpt from the article
"Though Long Beach is home ot the largest Cambodian population in the United States, there is a dearth of data and information that reflect the experience of the community. For this reason, KGA decided to launch a research projet that woudl assess the conditions and needs among Khmer youth in their community....KGA wanted the project to be participatory and member-led, so that their community called the shots on what to ask, how, and how the findings will be used."
