Prounouns: she/her
Eileen Linchangco is a second-generation Filipino American from Claremont, California. She graduated from Scripps College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a focus in Human Rights.
Her passion for social justice in the Asian American community is rooted in the systemic injustices she saw her family experience after immigrating to southern California from the Philippines in the 1990s. In college, Eileen became involved with community organizing during her tenure as Co-Head of the Asian American Student Union and at internships with AAPI nonprofits in DC and California, such as Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus (ALC) and Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote).
Eileen is inspired to be part of a larger movement dedicated to fighting for systemic change and empowering Southeast Asian women and youth of color at KGA. She hopes to continue engaging with the AAPI community and leaders in working toward a better, more just future.
