City of Long Beach Youth Grants for Summer Programs—Deadline Extended!
In case you missed it, a total of $255K will be invested back into our communities this summer!
Grants will be administered by the Nonprofit Partnership and funded by Measure US to support public health, climate change, and youth development in the City.
Here are the new deadlines:
- Mini Grant applications are due Friday, July 1st at 5 PM, and
- Mid-Size Grant applications are due Wednesday, July 20th at 5 PM.

Children 6 Months and Older Now Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine
Since Friday, June 24th, children ages 6 months and older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Appointments and vaccinations will be held only at the Long Beach Health and Human Services Department Main Facility at 2525 Grand Ave on:
- Fridays, 10 AM- 1 PM and 2PM- 6 PM, and
- Saturdays, beginning July 2nd from 9 AM- 1 PM
Families that include people with disabilities, access or functional needs, or underlying health conditions who are not able to travel to the vaccination site can request mobile vaccination by calling 562-570-4636 or visiting longbeach.gov/COVID19MobileVaccination.
