Our campaigns are led by Southeast Asian women and youth but the victories & milestones have advanced equity & justice for low-income Black, Brown & Asian families in our city, region, and state.
Young people who experience poverty and violence from living and going to school in historically divested neighborhoods are the best leaders who can offer the best solutions to change the very system that has harmed their families and communities.
Our campaigns are opportunities for these young leaders to actively participate in community organizing, shared governance, collective healing, and shaping culture.

Too many young bois/boys of color are being pushed out of schools and into prisons. We say, enough is enough. We’re calling on all young bois/boys of color to join us. It’s time to eliminate the school-to-prison pipeline and demand a system that supports all youth to succeed.
Keep Families Together
Through our Keep Families Together (KFT) campaign, we connect individuals and their families to legal aid and resources to take action. We also participate in local, regional, statewide and national efforts to raise awareness and advocate to end deportations, orders of removal, and family separations caused by the ICE, unjust criminalization, and over-policing of our communities.
Housing Justice
Zone In: City Core, previously known as the Anaheim Corridor Zoning Implementation Plan (ACZIP), is part of a larger rezoning and joint effort between the City of Long Beach and the Long Beach community to update zoning regulations in the area bounded by Pacific Coast Highway, 10th Street, Magnolia and Ximeno Avenues.
LEARN MORE
The Zone In: City Core project will update zoning regulations to support the development of new housing and a greater mix of uses particularly along commercial corridors in the area, including Anaheim Street and Pacific Coast Highway.
