We are powerful when we turn out to vote. Voter power can shape the outcome of our everyday lives by who and what wins on the ballot.
Through high voter turnouts, we can hold electeds accountable to the demands of a progressive voting bloc. That’s why we outreach to young adults, AAPIs (the fastest growing demographic) and voters of color who live in low voter propensity districts because we are ready to win systemic change that prioritizes equity and justice for our communities.
The Integrated Voter Engagement Program (IVE) is powered by KGA alumni, transitional age youth, multiracial community leaders, and volunteers.
Intersectional and multi-issue work that we have engaged voters on include:
- Reproductive health
- City budget priorities
- Housing & development
- Ending anti-Asian violence
- Redefining public safety
- Census outreach
- COVID-19 prevention and vaccine education
- Resources for deportation and orders of removal
- Voters rights and resources
