Holding Space and Making Space
With the March 2023 purchase of a multistory building, KGA is realizing a longstanding youth vision to create a “Youth Movement and Education Center.” The center will support the development of youth and new leaders and become a hub for arts, healing, community programs, and social justice campaigns. More than a gathering place, the hub enables a cross-section of community organizations to strategize around incubating innovative projects for social progress – ultimately strengthening local and regional infrastructure to build power. This endeavor achieves KGA’s long-held dream for a youth-led space to transform our communities and movements.
How To Get Involved
With a physical space to call our own, the communities we serve can count on a safe, inclusive space where they are valued, respected, and encouraged to express themselves.
Today, we ask you to help us renovate our center so we can establish an accessible home in the heart of our community.
